Deciding what actions to take is the trickiest part of marketing.
And only focusing on channels (social media, SEO & Ads) is a common mistake.
If you only focus on channels, you get a lot of people seeing your site.
But very few become paying customers.
You need to think about:
What you say
Making people trust you
Selling your products
❓ Now how do you make people buy your products?
✔ You also need to understand WHO your dream customer is.
You can easily do that by writing things like,
Age
Income
Where they live
Who they trust
Their frustrations, goals, & desires
Now that you know who you’re talking to,
✔ How do you reach your target Audience?
The most common mistake is trying all channels at once.
If you do too many, you’ll just be okay with all of them.
It’ll be too expensive to get customers.
Win on one channel.
Put in systems to scale that channel.
Then, expand to a new one.
❓ So which channels should you use?

Here are some good channels you can explore.
Email - cold and warm.
Socials - Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube.
SEO - Google, Bing, eventually ChatGPT.
Affiliates/referrals - peers, affiliate networks.
Ads - Newsletter ads, social ads, search ads.
Offline Events - speaking, community building.
PR Campaigns - news stations, blogs, newspapers.
Start choosing one and try it out.
And see if it’s working for you.
✔ How will you change your audience into customers?
Only 3% of your prospects are ready to buy at any one time!
You’ll need to consistently give them value.
This way you build so much trust.
And become their first choice, when ready to buy.
📌 Remember to build systems for:
• Collecting contact info
• Sending them valuable content
• Selling your products
• Follow up
To build a relationship you need to consistently reach the same person.
The algorithm-based platforms – (LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube) don’t work here.
Instead use, Emails, Phone, & Address.
But start with just one.
If a prospect doesn’t trust you, they won’t buy.
The best way you can build trust is through long-form content.
This way your audience gets to know how you think.
📌 Use these channels for long-form content.
Blogs, newsletters, & emails for written content.
YouTube Videos via email/text.
Discord for more community engagement.
✔ But eventually you need to turn them into paying customers.
Start doing that by:
Sending Cold emails to those who don’t know you yet - more persuasion.
Sending Warm Emails to those you’ve been sending products to - more engagement.
Sending Hot Emails to those who bought from you - new offers.
Start with one channel and keep adjusting your strategies until customers flow through and buy.
Then scale the channel.
Now you're good to go!
